"Ségou" marks the opening of an upcoming EP and gives a taste of the new tracks, inspired by the dry lands and the tribal culture of Mali. In this minimal track, almost only consisting in drum and bass for a very mesmerising groove, Soundiata takes a further step towards rough and dark Techno. Still, the sparse vocals offer scope for soulfulness and life to emerge from the wild.
