Man of the night, he started in the early 90 in Paris as a DJ with Laurent Garnier and in the most famous club in Paris, the Rex Club, The Palace, The Boy, The Queen. A promising start for the continuity of his career. Since that night, Jean-Marie K skims the clubs in France and abroad. Artistic manager of Fairway records the first label in France the first label who produced Techno compilations with artists like Damon Wild, Tim Taylor, Chez Damier.
Already producer since its inception, he releaseed tracks in the 90’ on many labels like in Germany AquaticPlant and the Netherlands in XS-Records, or NRK in UK with Miguel Migs or Id&T. During that period he is playing in the biggest big Europeans festivals like MayDay, Love Parade, Winter Music Conference in Miami and for the Techno Parade in Paris. And was resident for 5 years at the Locomotive in Paris, bringing his friends Derrick May, Laurent Garnier, Francesco Farfa or his friend from Croatia Pero Full House. Resident DJ for 9 years (2000/2009) on the famous French radio FG Radio DJ on the only radio djs with over 70 French and international DJ’s like Carl Cox, Sven Vath or Laurent Garnier, Nicole Moudaber Jean-Marie K held its residence with his show After FG for 9 seasons non-stop. Jean-Marie K is a dj heart above all, it plays everywhere in Europe resident at the famous party Terrassain Barcelona and Tahiti, Miami WMC, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo, Moscow and also on new emerging scenes, unusual artist for unusual events: from Morocco (5 years resident @ Platinium Rabat the biggest club in Morocco at that time) also Chefchaouen festival, through Bosnia for the first Electronic party “Night Train Nostalgia” after the warnin Sarajevo's central railway station, and he sails between the various clubs in Ibiza, Berlin, Brussels, Tokyo, Island La Réunion or Ljubljana.
Pioneer of electronic music in France, he came in Croatia just after the war, there he has been mixing since 1996 (first time for Future Shock in Zagreb) and then in all the country with his friend DJ Pero Full House and many other promoters in the country, and as he likes to say: "The Croatian Public is one of the best audience of the World". He played all over the country during since 1996 from Varazdin to Dubrovnik, going through Split, Orebic, Brac, Hvar, Osijek, Varazdin, Zagreb, Rijeka, Trogir, Zadar, Sinj or Pula.
For the 10 years of love with Croatia he relased a track called “Beautiful People” a special dedication to the Croatian crowd. In 2016 he made a tour in Croatia to celebrate 20 years of love and music with the country and the people.
Jean-Marie K continues to enjoy the music and brings his tribe in the electronic environment. An artist who has contributed to the success of FG Dancefloors sold over a million copies alongside the Artistic Director of Radio FG DJ Didier Sinclair (RIP) and the team radio FG. Former label manager of FG Recordings label FG DJ Radio, As a producer he collaborated with artists like: Jeff Mills, Slam, Sven Vâth, Joachim Garraud, Petar Dundov, Robbie Rivera, Shazz or Salif Keita. Playing in some of the biggets underground festivals like Dimensions Festival or Mistery Land in Amsterdam. His love of the electronic music brings him to make different projects in different kind like Techno project called Soundiata signed on few labels like Jay’s Records with Natalino Nunes or Betrieb records in Berlin already 3 singles released with the first single signed on the label Tekkmania in Miami.
Real House lover too,his project KnR started in 2000 producing House & Deep House, project signed with the French label 96 Musique in Paris, The Avener label’s, with already 5 releases on the label he already collaborated with artistes like Agrume or UN*DEUX.
