Sixteen years after its original release, Muttonheads revisits one of his early milestones. First unveiled in 2004 as his second single on Serial Records — following debut "To You" — Smashing Music quickly established itself as a defining moment of the French Touch era, with a remix by Joachim Garraud amplifying its reach on dancefloors across Europe.

For this 2020 update, Muttonheads strips the track back to its essence and rebuilds it with a sharper, more contemporary production. The result is a version that hits harder and sits naturally in today's club landscape, without betraying the warmth and groove that made the original resonate. The French Touch spirit is very much intact.
