Serial Crew — the collaborative project of Mathieu Bouthier and Muttonheads — announce the release of their new EP, Need U, a three-track serving of pure French Touch inspiration that feels like a direct transmission from the golden era of Parisian house music.
The original version lays the blueprint: a hypnotic vocal loop locked into a strong, pumping bass-line that leaves very little room for anything other than dancing. Lean, effective, and built to last the night. A second version welcomes Jean-Charles Sommerard on vocals, adding a warm human presence to the track's insistent groove and lifting it into something altogether more soulful.
Closing the EP, Muttonheads step out from the duo to deliver their own remix — a natural progression, with one half of Serial Crew reinterpreting the shared vision through their own distinct lens.
