Serial Records is proud to present Indie Walk, the second EP from French DJ and producer DJ F.E.X — a three-track journey that sits at the crossroads of House music tradition and global sonic exploration.

Born from a love affair with electronic music that began in the early nineties, when a young Farid first received mix-tapes from his uncle based in Ypsilanti, Michigan — deep in the heart of Detroit's legendary music scene — DJ F.E.X has been shaping dancefloors since 1994. With releases on respected labels such as Systematic, Dessous, Pokerflat, and Safari Numérique, his signature sound — warm, spheric and impulsive, hovering between Techno and Nu-Deep — has earned him a solid place in the European underground.

Produced with his friend DJ Phantom, The EP opens with its title track, "Indie Walk", which has already established itself as a timeless House classic and one of the most celebrated entries in the Serial Records catalogue. Driven by Indian-influenced melody and beat, woven into a hypnotic, psychedelic groove, the track is a masterclass in atmosphere and dancefloor intuition.

"A Night With" takes a different path, blending the warmth of Deep House with Hip Hop sensibilities, creating an intimate, late-night mood that is at once laid-back and deeply musical. The EP closes with "Last Dance", a pure and functional DJ Tool built for the club — a driving, stripped-back weapon designed to close sets with precision and power.

Indie Walk is a snapshot of an artist fully in command of his craft — a record that speaks the universal language of the dancefloor while carrying the soul of a lifetime dedicated to the music.
