Originally released in 1998, these three tracks are a snapshot of a era when house music was finding its many voices. Raw, unpolished and entirely of their time, they are presented here exactly as they were — no revisions, no updates.

Demon Ritchie opens with "To Find a Friend" — deep, hypnotic and anchored by a sinuous bass line that pulls from the first bar and doesn't surface until it's ready. Eglantine follows with "Unity," a track built for poolside afternoons and slow sunsets, all warmth and open air. Venturi closes the EP with "High Street," a funk-laced house cut with the kind of loose, confident groove that defined the late nineties dancefloor.

Three producers, three directions, one moment in time. Vol. 2 is a reminder that the Serial Records archives run deep — and that some of what was left behind deserves to be heard.
