Paris Angeles

Paris Angeles was a four-piece House music collective from Paris, active between 1997 and 1998. At the heart of the city's burgeoning underground dance scene, the group crafted a sound defined by raw, unpolished energy — stripped-down grooves and gritty textures that set them apart from the slicker, more radio-friendly House emerging elsewhere in Europe at the time.

Beyond their music, Paris Angeles played a foundational role in shaping the Parisian electronic landscape by co-founding Serial Records, a label that would go on to become one of France's most enduring House imprints. The group's five EPs were the first releases on the label, establishing its sonic identity and laying the groundwork for the artists who followed.

Though their output was brief, Paris Angeles left a lasting mark as both pioneers of a grittier Parisian House aesthetic and as the architects of a label that kept that spirit alive long after the group's run came to an end.
