ANTON WICK

Anton Wick Anton Wick is a French DJ and producer, born in 1980 hailing from Perpignan in the south of France. He becomes a dance and trance lover at the early age of 15 and begins his musicial career as a DJ.

His artistic studies within the Beaux-Arts’ School enable him to discover the world of C.A.M (Computer Assisted Music), and Anton starts producing his first tracks.

In 2000, he set the the music production aside to focus on a new passion: computer generated images. During an internship, where he has to combine music and pictures, Anton naturally returns to musical composition and decides to send a CD of his productions to a local radio station. He becomes resident DJ at the station and sets up his own sound creation studio.

In 2007, he met DJ Star Laurent Wolf during a festival and gave him a CD of his productions and remixes. From then on begins a collaboration between the two artists who express all of their talent, sharing their artistic world. Coproductions and remixes follow, Anton composes 4 pieces on Wolf’s album « Wash My World » (2008) and 7 on the album «Harmony» (2010). « Wash My World », « Seventies », « Walk The Line » and lately « Suzy » are all worldwide hits.

Thanks to his experience and to his artistic meetings, Anton releases his first single «That’s It» in 2011 with the 80’s hit « High Energy » singer Evelyn Thomas, and works at the same time producing tracks for many artists. Summer 2012, Anton is back with his new record, « Take On Me », sung by the talented Valentina J.Woods.

Today, Anton Wick releases with Mod Martin a brand new house track.

VALENTINA J. WOODS

Valentina J. WoodsValentina J. Woods catches the music fever at the early age of 12, and she learns the artist’s trade on stage. Through many experiences, she explores a variety of musical genres: Rock, Blues, Hip Hop, R’n’B. Her adaptability allows her to work in all styles with great ease, but she finds herself most at ease in jazz, so forging her oh so particular voice in such a manner that reminds us of the golden age of the big jazz names. Her voice combines warmth and an amazing swing, that make it immediately recognizable.

Very quickly, she tours the world as part of a quartet, hopping jazz festivals, and begins to flirt with writing and composition. From then on, afro- american music begins to take an obvious ascendancy on each of her musical choices.

In 2001, she turns to dance music, with diverse opportunities until she performs «Oyo For You», emblematic piece composed for Club Med and its new concept ‘Oyo’ in Tunis targeted to young a younger crowd. Closely follows «Le Monde Est à Toi», featuring Crazy B and Medar MVP, signed to Virgin Records. In 2002, she records a cover version of Eurythmic’s «Sweet Dreams», with Deejay Megasom, producted under the pseudonym Blue Star and signed to Warner Music. The next 3 years Valentina tours with a Gospel Choir, as solist, in The Las Vegas Show.

Her last piece is released in 2012, «Take On Me», with the collaboration of Anton Wick, signed to Serial Records.
