Didier Sinclair
Didier started working for National radio stations (like NRJ or Fun Radio) in 1982, he’s considered as being a pioneer of the industry. His Dj career starts in 1987 and is one of the first artist to play house music. Originally from the south of France, he moves to Paris in 1991 and starts producing records in 1998. This is how it all started but the story doesn’t end here.
Well known for his weekly show on Radio FG (every Thursday evening from 11pm to Midnight), first and main electronic music radio station in the country, he’s also in charge of the selection of the track listing of the famous compilations “DANCEFLOOR FG” that sold over 1 million copies. Didier has been the A&R of the radio station since 1998.
His first big success as a producer is released in December 1999 on Serial Records : “GROOVE 2 ME”, done with his all time friend Dj Chris Pi. This track is followed by “LOVELY FLIGHT” in 2000, that sold over 50 000 copies worldwide.
In 2002, he did “GALACTIX” and remixes for artists such as Mathieu Bouthier & Muttonheads, DJ F.E.X., Djinxx, Geyster, Dan Marciano, Fafa Monteco, Lorent Air or Lyszak. 2004 starts with a new version of “GROOVE 2 ME” including a remix from Wally Lopez.
The man never stops and starts a collaboration with David Duriez’s label : BRIQUE ROUGE, an electro project called “HOOK”. Back working with Serial Records, “HEAVENLY” comes out with a remix from Sharam Jey. In 2005, “FANTASY WORLD” is released as well as a mixed compilation on Wagram Music called “In the club by Didier Sinclair”, which is obviously a selection of Electro House tracks dedicated to a dancefloor crowd.
2006, the Parisian club : THE MIX, in which Didier has his own night and hosts the monthly Ministry of Sound parties, asks him to take in charge the selection of tracks for the club’s compilation.
May 2007, “FEEL THE WAVE” including remixes from Alex Gaudino, Ali Payami & Balazko. “Feel the wave” came out and went straight to number 15 in the CD single selling charts with 30,000 CDs single sold.
April 2008, “Do you speak ?” comes out with remixes from Moss & Szade, Trick & Kubic and Alex Gaudino. Didier is one of the main actors in the French dance music scene. He travels the globe to please his crowd and plays alongside the biggest names of this industry.
